and these girls were in High School.....
At a Lousiana high school, 20-25 girls were turned away from their high school prom for coming in dresses that were deemed too revealing.
The funniest part of this article is a quote from a boyfriend of one of the girls who got turned away. (keep in mind that these girls were given the opportunity to fix their dresses and return, but declined.)
"I think it was discrimination toward a woman who has features."
yeah...you sure enjoy those features, don't ya, buddy...
man alive.
The excuse these girls used was that they just had huge breasts that simply couldn't be covered up.
I've been noticing a huge trend the last five years ago with younger girls wearing more and more risque clothing. My sister is 14 and wears lower-cut tops than I do. And the thing is, it's encouraged. One has a hard time finding (literally) decent clothing in some of the most popular clothing stores.
What it comes down to, though, is that these girls who got turned away from their prom are 15-16-17-18 years old...they have the rest of their lives to be (ahem) promiscuously dressed.
