So...I'm all for school uniforms and their positive effects on student productivity and behavior, but this school went a TAD too far in my opinion.
It was sued because one of its pupils wore socks displaying a very disarming Tigger on them. I'm sure he was mid-bounce or something ridiculously rambunctious like that.
"But the school's policy requires students to wear clothes with solid colors in blue, white, green, yellow, khaki, gray, brown and black. Permitted fabrics are cotton twill, corduroy and chino. No denim is allowed."
Now this is an odd dress code. No pink? Boys can wear blue but girls cannot wear pink? Wouldn't it just be easier to just institute uniforms? With such detailed rules, there's bound to be mis-judgements. And probably blatent mockeries of the system as well. It is undoubtedly the first time Winnie the Pooh has been used to defy authority. I'll bet A.A. Milne never saw that one coming.
