So...the big news at KELO tonight is Daphne Wright's murder/dismemberment/crazy person trial. So incredibly gruesome! It honestly does sound like something straight out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Maybe because she used a CHAINSAW.
The evidence against her is so overwhelming too. Her clothes were found wrapped around the peices, she has the reciept of the chainsaw, people remember seeing her buy it, there was blood of the victim on her car and in her basement, bone fragments scattered everywhere, incriminating letters, and the list goes on. This killer was obviously not as dementedly crafy as the TCM killer.
And it was all for love--that's the sick part. It seems more "natural" when it's because of a twisted childhood or a severe mental illness...but she did this out of passionate love for another...she killed and dismembered trying to "save" a love.
I've always maintained that love is the greatest gift humans have been given...so I guess it makes sense that the most powerful thing humans can experience can create the most destruction as well.
